What do you use metal wedges for?

Our metal wedges and shims are designed for jobs where brute force and precision work come together. They are frequently used for:

Leveling and alignment: Bringing heavy steel beams, H-profiles, window frames, and concrete structures exactly to height and level.
Setting heavy machinery: Stably positioning heavy equipment, lathes, and motors (also in preparation for grouting).
Spreading flanges & separating plates: Controlled pushing apart of pipe flanges, pipe connections, or stuck steel plates.
Setting and alignment for welding: Tightly clamping, aligning, and temporarily tacking steel parts before you start welding.
Disassembly and assembly work: Creating an initial opening in tight spaces where other tools won’t fit.
Controlled splitting of materials: Applying targeted pressure to safely split heavy parts or blocks.

Because our industrial wedges are neatly deburred and sawn at a safe, controlled angle, they maintain excellent grip under tension and do not simply shoot away.

In what dimensions can you buy steel wedges?

Do you want to buy wedges directly? Euronique supplies steel wedges in various standard dimensions. The pointed tip of our metal wedges is approximately 2 to 4 mm and rises at a safe, controlled angle to the desired height.
